Not good
I love my Bamix and also the small accessory chopper, so I was surprised at how much I DON'T like the SliceSy. I was hoping to be able to quickly grate a small amount of cheese, but my Bamix motor strained so hard on just a piece of sharp cheddar that I was concerned about damaging it. And then, there is cleanup! The upper lid can only be "wiped". Now tell me how you get cheese out of that feeding tube (not to mention the little groove at the bottom of the tube) without some soap and water? My SliceSy is being returned. I'll stick with a hand grater or find a much less expensive, motor-included, mini food processor.
Extends an already great product: the Bamix stick blender
I have used a similar food processing attachment with my Calphalon Electrics 3 in 1 Immersion Hand Blender, which I liked pretty well. However, I found the bowl to be too small, and I was limited by its single, slim blade, which didn't seem to capture all the material, and required more work to get a so-so product.
Because a good stick blender is an invaluable kitchen tool, and mine was lacking, I decided to look for an improved model. After a year of intermittent research, and fretting about how much I'd be willing to spend on this small-but-mighty appliance, I ended up with the Bamix Gastro Professional GL200 Pro-3 Immersion Blender - White. Though a major upgrade, it was well worth the investment.
I bought the SliceSy Attachment with the Bamix GL200, and have been continually pleased by how much the SliceSy extends...
