Not your typical old crock pot/slow cooker
Actually, I'm using this Bella slow cooker for the first time today as I'm writing this review.
I'm slow cooking a 5Lb chuck pot roast with all the veggies etc. So far the slow cooker has been cooking on high for 3 hours. It actually took the slow cooker the first hour to fully heat up and reach its high temp setting. So far it appears not to have reached the simmering stage unlike the old round electric slow cooker's did on the high temp setting within the first hour to hour and a half on high. So we'll see how this pot roast and veggies turn out after 7-8 hours of slow cooking on high heat.
I do however like the overall appearance, the hinged lift up locking lid with the no leak rubber gasket seal is very nice. No more dribbling when lifting up the lid. The bright blue color LED display readout is easy to read and the programing simple. High, Low, Warm, and OFF.
The lid itself completely comes off for easy cleaning by just pushing the hinge release...
great buy!
I always wanted a slow cooker that I could travel with that I did not have to worry about spillage. This one fits the bill to a tee. It cooks everything perfectly and the locking top keeps in all the juices, and keeps my husband lifting the lid all the time! Honestly I just love it and am very glad that I chose the Bella Slow Cooker and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a great slow cooker.
