Very nice and very useful but could have been designed better
I have had my sweeper for about a month and have used it quite a number of times since buying it. It works wonderfully on hard floors, and works well on my low pile carpets. I can not imagine that this device would ever work on a shag carpet. You need to be careful when pushing the sweeper in some directions on the carpet. It will depend on your carpet which way that is, but you will notice it very quickly when you use it. Push it one way and it nearly stops the sweeper from moving. Turn 180 degrees and try it again, and it will work just fine. Of course if necessary, instead of pushing it over the carpet, pull it backwards towards you when this happens and problem solved. It has to do with the carpet, not the machine. I find that you will not want to press down on the sweeper whan using it on a carpet. You want it to just glide over the top. For me this was a matter of simply lowering the handle closer towards the floor when pressing it forward. That makes it nearly impossible to put...
I love this Sweeper !!!!
It's great ... I am always amazed at how much stuff it picks up .. If using on carpet or a wool rug just try and remember to empty the collection pan after every use. It will fill quickly. I got my Mom one and she loves it ... No problems with battery and its over a year old now...
Oreck Sweep N Go cord free electric sweeper
I saw this sweeper being used at a restaurant we often patronize and they recommended it so we bought one. We use it several times a day for quick cleaning of our floors and we love it.
