Great product!!
So, there was a Groupon deal for the Wolfgang Puck cool-touch deep fryer so I decided to use the money I got refunded to me on Groupon to buy this. It arrived today. Tonight, I am frying everything to test it. So far, pretty awesome. It doesn't get hot on the outside, there's a nice vent on it, even a timer if I want to use it. Temperature gauge is easy to read. The basket makes it awesome to use cause you can easily slip it out and dump your food onto paper towels if you want. I've so far made a couple battered mushrooms, sweet potato fries I had in the freezer, cut up some potato wedges and floured them a little, and I'm in the process of trying to make "fried chicken" with chicken legs and Louisiana Seasoned Chicken Fry mix. I'm having fun. LOL. My plan is to use it for: crab rangoon, egg rolls/lumpia, and fry bread. I'm impressed. Puck WPDFR070 Deep Fryer Delivers on its promises
Had this WPDFR070 deep fryer 3 months... used it 3 times, works great! Especially like the timer and the fact that it can
be detached from the fryer. This fryer holds its temperature well and returns quickly to the set temperature to assure consistent cooking times. It's very easy to clean even though the heating elements are submerged in the oil. It is well built and appears that it will hold up to years of use. Also couldn't beat the low Amazon price! Used my Prime account to purchase it so it was delivered free in 2 days. Can't beat that either!
if you love to fry but are afraid of fire like i was
I say "was" because with this deep fryer you can have the crispest fries, the crispest any thing. the taste is great. you won't stop frying. I can't say enough good things about it! please take a chance ( well it's not really a chance) if you don't LOVE IT like I do I believe you can return it. you'll have to check on that? I didn't even look because I know Wolfgang Puck's products are 100% as good as he says they are.
