Useful tools, useless Hose
If you are thinking of getting this kit to use in a car like I did be forewarned that the DC31 loses too much power with the hose attached, making it useless. Don't get me wrong! The other 3 accessories are great but the kit is hampered by the hose and may not be worth the cost if you factor out the hose. (these attachments should have come with the DC31 for the price it cost)
A 'Must Have' accessory
Makes the DC-31 or DC-35 much more versatile. The flexible hose is indespensible, allowing you to reach places that were previously imposible to access. It also stretches amazingly. For a quick and dirty way to store all the attachments, consider a row of coat hooks or make your own with dowels.
Expands the Use of the Dyson Handheld Models
I bought this kit AFTER buying the Dyson handheld ("Animal") model. I found that I just couldn't get the maximum value out of the machine without these accessories. I am now extremely pleased because my Dyson (handheld) can do many more cleaning jobs more efficiently. If you're going to spend $200.00+ dollars on a handheld Dyson, these tools are a must!
