Works okay
This is my first humidifier, so I don't have a lot of experience/knowledge about what makes a good humidifier. However, I will say, unlike the other reviewer, mine has not leaked. I've had it for several weeks now and it seems to be working fine. It also has a large reservoir, so it will go 2 or 3 nights without having to refill it. I will agree with the other reviewer's assessment of the instruction manual -- it is terrible!! Most of it made very little sense. The remote isn't very useful, either. You can set the humidifier to automatic, either by timer or by the humidity sensor (i.e., set the humidity to a certain percentage, and the humidifier will turn off when it reaches that humidity). I would think it would turn back on when the humidity drops back below the level you set it to, but I think maybe it doesn't (I've looked at it in the morning, and the humidity shows at 63% even though I set it to 65% when I went to sleep). Pretty, but it leaked.
I bought this one even though there were zero reviews on it at the time. Lesson learned b/c even though it seemed to work great when turning it on for the first time, over the course of several nights, it leaked all the water out of it while I was sleeping. I tried the troubleshooting that is written in the translated instruction manual, but nothing mentioned leaking. The instruction manual did not make a lot of sense in some parts since it was clearly translated from Chinese by a computer.

Oh well, looks like I'll be buying one of the less attractive ones that actually work!

Good humidifier. Lousy remote.
The humidifier seems 5 star so far.
The remote may as well not exist.
If you are not exactly in front of the unit at exactly the same level with the remote pointed straight at it, it doesn't get the signal.
We changed batteries at first thinking the batteries were dead.
One day and the cheap membrane switch is already peeling away.
If the humifier keeps working it is the best we have had.
If you ar buying this because it has a remote (as I did) then don't bother.
